The Wind is Blowing
I will be posting a prophetic word periodically for everyone who follows us in this ministry. Sometimes these will be presented purely in text form, and sometimes they will be given live into camera before being transcribed.
It is impossible for a prophetic word to always apply to everyone, but I believe that the Lord will often give a word that applies to many folks. So if a prophetic word applies to you, embrace it and receive as word from the Lord to you personally.
In recent times, as I have sought to move in greater anointing and be used by the Lord, it has seemed at times like all of hell has been unleashed against me. I have cried out to the Lord as Paul did concerning his thorn in the flesh and the Lord always assures me that He has already given me all I need to overcome the enemy.
In this word, the Lord explains some of the reason why it may seem like everything has gone wrong since you made a fresh commitment to Him. I hope it encourages you to take a fresh look at yourself, dust yourself off and then get up and go forward boldly in His Name.
Here is the word:
The Lord says, “My child, you have been facing a strong wind that has been blowing against you. This has increased since you said that you wanted more of My power and anointing. And now you are confused, because instead of experiencing greater liberty and anointing, you have found yourself facing unexpected pressures.
You have wondered if you missed it and have gone in the wrong direction. Even my presence with you does not seem as real as it used to be. You have thought that perhaps the enemy has singled you out for a special attack because of your commitment to Me.
And indeed, the enemy has sought to destroy you, but he has limited power and limited resources available to him. But you have unlimited resources in me. And I have already placed in your spirit all the power you will need to go forward boldly in My name to do exploits for Me and to take this world for Me.
You have sought more of My power and presence, and want to experience more of My fire in your life and ministry. But before My power can be manifested, and before the fire falls, the wind must blow.
For the wind exposes everything in you that you must let go of. It reveals the things that you are trusting in. And the purpose is not to harm you or destroy you, though the enemy uses it to do this.
But when you see My hand in your life rather than the works of darkness, you will realize that the wind is not simply a curse, but a tool to accomplish in you more of My glory and power.
The wind will remove everything that has been hanging onto you from your exposure to the world system and the input you receive daily from the world and from the enemy via the world.
In the end, it is not the wind that accomplishes this, but My presence. So when you see the wind, run to the shelter of My presence and look to Me alone. And let go of those things that are hindering you in your spiritual progress. Give them up and sacrifice them to Me. Sow them as a seed to produce a far greater harvest of blessing.
As you give up all those natural things that you are depending on, and put your trust in Me alone, I can do amazing things, for I have heard your cries and seen your heart’s desire.
Consider the wind as the first sign that I am already working to answer your desires.
Then respond to the wind with a fresh commitment to walk fully in My ways and walk the path that I set before you. And you will soon begin to see an increase in your own spiritual life and power. Your prayers will become more effective and your ministry will accomplish great things for Me.
Know that I am pleased with you, says the Lord. And when the wind has passed, as on the Day of Pentecost, the fire will begin to fall. And every desire that you have brought to me will be fulfilled.”

This is a great prophetic word although so simple. Truly it speaks to ME but perhaps I can say over the years am beginning to loss faith in prophecy and prophetic word bcos it’s clear. They are nicely spoken but don’t work anymore as they’d with prophet’s of Old. Why don’t they work in our Days like Days of Old? I don’t know but I perceive most preacher’s like blaming their audience or congregation for lack of faith etc meanwhile when Samuel or Elisha did prophesy they never needed the people’s faith for it to work.
What’s really wrong with prophecy and prophetic word in our Days?
Of course, I know when a word is merely for edification and exhortation…
